The chaotic future of a paradise island. Heavy theme for the music video Adogás, by the band Skrotes. The animation reveals the city of Florianópolis suffering from political negligence and real estate speculation.
Enjoying and preserving nature are points I’ve always had in common with the guys in the band. So the first drawings of the storyboard brought the most paradisiacal scenarios of the island, in parallel with its chaotic version, making you think about what can happen.
The characters were animated frame by frame using ToonBoom StudioPro.
A variety of buildings, plants, fish, vehicles, traffic signs and many other elements created to compose each environment.
The animation has already participated in several festivals around the world, including the official selection of Anima Mundi 2018.
