This is a poster illustrated by Ilustrograma for a really cool event that happened in Florianópolis (Brazil): a “Nosferatu” (1922, silent film) exhibit with an original soundtrack created and played live by Skrotes (in august, 2022).
The illustration, designed exclusively for the exhibition was created by Henrique Neumann and sold during the event.
‘Nosferatu’ is a classic movie for the German Expressionism, a style of silent films characterized by contrasts, deep angles and outstanding shadows to intensify the movie’s atmosphere, usually focused on the supernatural.
To allude to these characteristics, we used shadow and light work to give the illustration a sinister atmosphere.
In the gif above, we show each step of the production and creation of the pôster – from the first lines to the final illustration. It was an honor to be a part of this project and celebrate Skrotes’ 10th year anniversary with such talented artists!

The exhibit of the film is part of the Ocupa CIC event, realization by Ginga Criativa and FatFace Studio.
