Quina de São João film for Caixa Loterias, from Caixa Econômica Federal. At the invitation of Burn Color Grading, post production of the film, we created the storyboards, illustrations and animations to compose this production by Santeria with Direction by Angry Films.
CONCEPTS
The references for the illustrations were the best woodcut and Cordel Brasileiro artists such as J. Borges, J. Miguel and Severino Borges.

The transitions from the captured film to animation were made using the frame-by-frame technique.
STORYBOARD
MATTE PAINTING
To finalize the integration of the captured scenes with the animations, we prepared the Matte Painting that accompanied the background. From the capture that accompanied the same color palette but with a painting treatment instead of woodcut.
